Roe v Wade is the case that legalized abortion in the United States in 1973 but this ruling may soon be overturned. It looks like the Supreme Court will announce their decision yet this month. Stopping the legalization of abortion is a battle Mercer County Right to Life has fought for almost 50 years. If this decision does go in our favor, we plan to have a rally at the courthouse to celebrate this historical moment of history.

There will be food, drinks, music, and great speakers!

Plan to bring your whole family for the evening!

This is the date we have set, but it could change if the decision comes out sooner. If you hear the decision has been made, please go to our web page or Facebook page to look for the rally date. The location and time will stay the same no matter the date. We would like to have you join us in this historical moment of history!

Life Defenders workshops equip attendees to become effective ambassadors for life. 

Many people today reject or are indifferent to the pro-life view, often because they’ve never heard the pro-life position presented in a compelling manner. Life Defenders will prepare you to confidently communicate the pro-life position to others. Using science & philosophy, you will learn to simplify the debate. Come learn to speak intelligently and graciously to the most pressing moral issue of our time: abortion.  You’ll leave prepared to confidently persuade others by exposing the logical fallacies of abortion-choice rhetoric without the need for vitriol and angry dialogue.

This year's workshop will feature two course levels - Case for Life 101, taught by Mike Spencer and Case for Life 201, taught by Pat Schwenk. This Life Defenders Workshop is made possible by a partnership between Mercer County Right to Life, Project Life Voice and Right to Life of Northeast Indiana.

Mercer County RTL will facilitate their annual Oratory Contest for all juniors and seniors in Mercer County. Contestants are asked to research, write, and present an original pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, or stem-cell research that is 5-7 minutes in length. Contestants are to submit a video entry of their speech by February 20 to: prolifegeneration.mercercounty@outlook.com. All contestants who submit a video entry will receive a $100 participation prize! The top 6 contestants will be invited to present on March 6th at the Preferred Insurance Center in Coldwater at 1:00pm. The prize amounts for the top 6 finalists who present on
